Hands Off Protest

​On April 5th, 2025, thousands of protesters gathered in Syracuse's Forman Park for the "Hands Off" protest, part of a global day of action opposing President Donald Trump and Elon Musk's actions since taking office earlier this year.

Organized by local groups, the rally called for an end to the threat to democracy in the U.S. Demonstrators marched through downtown Syracuse, chanting and holding signs in solidarity. Similar protests occurred in other cities nationwide, reflecting widespread concern over the Trump administration.

I-81 Viaduct Explainer

I-81 is the main highway that cuts through Syracuse. In the most recent years, the highway has been falling apart and causing issues within the community. BluePrint 15 is a new redevelopment plan to bring a new community street grid while honoring the history of the homes being affected by the construction.
